Mont Tremblant - Information

Resort Information Mont Tremblant

Mont Tremblant is Eastern Canada’s main ski resort and has become very popular in recent years. The pretty village has been designed in traditional Québécois style, combining North American service with European elegance. Beginners have a large area with easy green runs and there are good cruising runs on both the North and South sides for intermediates and advanced, including some steep bumps. For those who like to ski in the trees, Tremblant offers some terrific runs! A traffic free resort with easy access to the slopes.Set in the Laurentian Mountains, the ski area covers just over 600 acres and is best suited to intermediates. What it lacks in quantity it makes up for in variety and quality touches (such as heated seats on gondolas). It has two sides, one north- and one south facing. The south-facing is accessed from the Flying Mile and TGV lift (mid-mountain) and takes you back to base via a mixture of green, blue and black trails. Over on the north side, another mix of terrain takes you down to the Duncan chair. Tremblant does not have the best natural snowfall, but a huge snowmaking operation that covers the majority of the mountain helps there. A dedicated beginners area on the south side of the mountain with two magic carpet lifts make Tremblant and excellent choice for beginners wanting to learn in what is regularly voted No1 resort in eastern North America.
