Limits and exclusions

There are standard general exclusions on most types of travel insurance policies.

These can include acts of civil unrest, self inflicted injury, loss/theft of unattended baggage, loss/theft of cash, and pre-existing medical conditions.

Some travel insurance policies may be invalidated where injuries are sustained as a result of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Standard travel insurance policies may also exclude 'dangerous' or 'extreme' activity, such as heliskiing or downhill mountian biking, rock climbing, kite surfing, hunting, bungee jumping and scuba diving over 30m and in some cases you can pay an additional premium to cover such activities.

The limits and exclusions of any policy are clearly shown in the full policy terms and conditions but if you have any questions in regards to the levels of cover and excess, the activities covered or pre-existing medical conditions then please call us 0330 880 5099.
