what is the difference?

A single return trip travel insurance policy allows you to travel abroad between two predesignated dates with your trip starting and ending in your home country.

An annual multi trip travel insurance policy allows you travel as often as you wish in a calendar year providing no single trip exceeds the maximum trip duration shown on the policy wording and with all trips starting and ending in your home country. Can be used for winter sports holidays plus any other travel you take during the year including summer holidays and city breaks.
